Review Transparency Policy

At Bintan Voyage, we believe guest reviews should be honest, transparent, and based on real experiences.

Since January 2026, Bintan Voyage has used Google Reviews as our main public review source. We invite guests we have served to share their honest feedback through our official Google Review QR code, which can be found on our guide ID cards, business cards, envelopes, guest folders, and selected trip materials.

Leaving a review is always optional. Some guests choose to share their experience publicly, and some do not. We respect both.

We do not buy reviews, create fake reviews, write reviews on behalf of guests, offer rewards to guests in exchange for reviews, or ask staff, family members, vendors, suppliers, or unrelated people to pretend to be guests.

Our goal is simple: to show real guest experiences from real travelers who have interacted with, booked, or traveled with Bintan Voyage.

How does Bintan Voyage collect Google Reviews?

Bintan Voyage collects public guest reviews through Google Reviews.

After a guest has interacted with our team, booked a service, completed a tour, used our transport arrangement, or received travel assistance from Bintan Voyage, we may invite them to share honest feedback through our Google Review QR code.

This QR code is placed on official Bintan Voyage materials, including guide ID cards, business cards, envelopes, guest folders, and selected trip documents.

We use QR codes to make the review process easier for guests, not to pressure them. A review request is an invitation, not an obligation.

Guests are free to decide whether they want to leave a review or not.

Why do we use Google Reviews?

We use Google Reviews because they are public, easy to access, and connected to our Google Business Profile. This helps future travelers check feedback from guests who have experienced or interacted with Bintan Voyage.

We want our reviews to be easier to verify. Instead of relying only on private testimonials or anonymous comments, we use a public review platform so travelers can see guest feedback more clearly before deciding to book.

When Google Reviews are displayed on our website, they may be shown through a review display tool such as Trustindex. These reviews are sourced from Google Reviews and displayed to help website visitors read guest feedback more easily.

We do not rewrite Google Reviews to make them look better. We do not change guest ratings. We do not create fake testimonials to replace real guest feedback.

Who do we ask for reviews?

We only invite people who have had a real interaction with Bintan Voyage to leave a review.

This may include guests who have completed a tour with us, booked a package with us, used our transport or pickup arrangement, joined an activity arranged by our team, or communicated with our team during a real inquiry or booking process.

We do not ask unrelated people to review our business.

We do not ask staff, family members, vendors, suppliers, or partners to pretend to be customers.

We do not create review accounts or submit reviews on behalf of guests.

Every guest who leaves a review must write it by themselves using their own Google account.

Are guests required to leave a review?

No. Reviews are always optional.

We invite guests to share honest feedback, but we never require them to leave a review. We understand that not every guest wants to write a public review. Some guests prefer privacy, some are busy, and some simply do not write reviews. A shocking human habit, but we survive.

Choosing not to leave a review will never affect how we treat a guest.

We respect every guest’s decision.

Do we ask guests to leave only positive reviews?

No. We do not ask guests to leave only positive reviews.

When we invite feedback, we ask for an honest experience. Guests are free to share what they liked, what could be improved, and what future travelers should know before booking with us.

We do not ask only happy guests to leave reviews. We do not tell guests what rating to give. We do not ask guests to write specific words. We do not pressure guests to leave 5-star reviews. We do not discourage negative or critical feedback. We do not ask guests to remove negative reviews simply because they are negative.

Our goal is to collect real feedback, not perfect-looking reviews that nobody can trust.

Do we offer rewards to guests for reviews?

No. Bintan Voyage does not offer money, discounts, gifts, upgrades, free services, special treatment, or any reward to guests in exchange for reviews.

We also do not offer benefits for changing, editing, or removing a review.

Guest reviews should reflect real experience, not a transaction disguised as feedback.

How do we help keep reviews authentic?

Bintan Voyage follows a simple review transparency process.

First, we serve the guest. A review request is only shared with people who have interacted with, booked, or traveled with Bintan Voyage.

Second, we use official review access points. Guests can scan our Google Review QR code from official Bintan Voyage materials such as guide ID cards, business cards, envelopes, guest folders, selected trip materials, or official follow-up messages.

Third, we do not write reviews for guests. Guests must write their own reviews using their own Google account. Our team does not write, edit, or submit reviews on behalf of guests.

Fourth, we do not control the rating. Guests choose their own rating and write their own comments.

Fifth, we monitor suspicious activity. If we notice a review that appears unrelated, misleading, fake, or not based on a real interaction with Bintan Voyage, we may review it internally and take appropriate action.

How do we use guest feedback internally?

Bintan Voyage may use verified guest feedback as part of our internal service quality evaluation.

Positive feedback helps us recognize team members who provide helpful, punctual, honest, respectful, and professional service. This may include internal appreciation, performance recognition, or service-based incentives for the team members involved in delivering a good guest experience.

However, any internal recognition must come from genuine guest experience, not from review manipulation.

Our team members are strictly not allowed to pressure guests to leave reviews, ask for 5-star ratings, offer rewards to guests for reviews, write reviews on behalf of guests, use guest phones to submit reviews, ask family members or unrelated people to review Bintan Voyage, or create fake reviews in any form.

A good review should be earned through good service, not forced through pressure, tricks, or dishonest behavior. Amazing that this needs spelling out, but here we are, protecting civilization one review policy at a time.

If any team member is found manipulating reviews, pressuring guests, offering benefits for reviews, creating fake reviews, or acting dishonestly in the review process, Bintan Voyage management may take internal action. This may include removing the review from internal performance consideration, withholding service recognition, issuing warnings, suspending assignments, or applying other management decisions depending on the case.

What if someone finds a suspicious or fake review?

If you believe a review on our Google Business Profile is fake, misleading, unrelated, or not based on a real Bintan Voyage guest experience, you can report it to our management team.

Please send us as much detail as possible, such as the reviewer name shown on Google, a screenshot of the review, the date of the review, the reason you believe the review is not genuine, and any supporting information that may help us review the issue properly.

Our management team will check the report internally. If the review appears to violate platform rules or does not reflect a real interaction with Bintan Voyage, we may take appropriate steps, including reporting it through Google’s available review reporting tools.

We take review integrity seriously because trust matters not only to future guests, but also to our team, guides, partners, and the wider travel community.

How do we display reviews on our website?

When we display reviews on the Bintan Voyage website, we aim to keep the source clear.

Our website may show Google Reviews through Trustindex or another review display tool. These tools help visitors read public Google Reviews more easily on our website.

Reviews displayed on our website are intended to help future guests understand our service through real guest feedback.

We do not create fake review cards. We do not change guest ratings. We do not rewrite guest comments to make them sound better.

If we display private feedback from WhatsApp, email, or direct messages in the future, we will only do so with guest permission and may shorten names to protect guest privacy.

What do our guides and team members say when asking for reviews?

Our guides and team members are trained to invite honest feedback in a neutral and respectful way.

They may say something like:

“Thank you for traveling with Bintan Voyage. If you are willing, you can share your honest experience through our Google Review QR code. Your feedback helps future guests understand our service better. Leaving a review is completely optional.”

Our team should not ask guests to give 5 stars.

Our team should not offer rewards to guests for reviews.

Our team should not pressure guests to write a review while they are uncomfortable, busy, or not ready.

A good review process should feel respectful, not forced.

Our Review Promise

We know that reviews can influence travel decisions. That is why we take review transparency seriously.

Our promise is simple: we ask for honest feedback from real guests, we make reviews easy to access through Google Review QR codes, we respect guests who choose not to leave a review, we do not buy or fake reviews, we do not reward guests for positive reviews, and we allow suspected fake reviews or review manipulation to be reported to our management team.

Trust is not built by simply saying “trust us.” Trust is built by being clear about what we do, what we do not do, and how guests can check for themselves.
