Meet the Bintan Voyage Team

Ady is a Field Coordinator and experienced local guide who has worked in Bintan tourism since 2009. He works primarily on the ground, monitoring trip operations, coordinating with local vendors and activity partners, and helping ensure each part of the itinerary runs as planned.

With extensive guiding experience and strong Korean language skills, Ady also guides guests when needed and communicates in Korean, English and Bahasa Indonesia. His long experience in Bintan gives him practical knowledge of local attractions, activities, travel timing and on-ground conditions, allowing him to respond quickly when arrangements need to be coordinated during a trip.

Affan is an experienced local guide who has been welcoming and guiding visitors in Bintan since 2012. He specialises in assisting Mandarin-speaking guests and communicates in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, helping travellers enjoy their itinerary while understanding more about the places, activities and local culture they experience in Bintan.

Known for his friendly and good-humoured personality, Affan creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for guests throughout the trip. With extensive on-ground guiding experience, he is particularly well suited to group travel and is regularly assigned to support corporate groups, school groups and larger private groups visiting Bintan.

Aksa is a friendly and approachable local guide who joined the Bintan Voyage team in 2024. He enjoys helping guests feel comfortable throughout their trip and is known for his cheerful personality, welcoming smile and attentive approach to guest service.

Aksa is particularly familiar with Bintan’s sea and water-based experiences, including snorkeling, diving, jet ski, kayaking, banana boat rides and other water sports. He guides guests in English and Bahasa Indonesia, helping them understand their activities, enjoy the experience and feel supported while exploring Bintan’s coastal and marine attractions.

Bayu is an experienced local guide with more than eight years of experience in Bintan tourism. He guides guests in Korean, English and Bahasa Indonesia, helping travellers explore Bintan with clear explanations, local insight and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the journey.

Known for his friendly and good-humoured personality, Bayu has a strong interest in Bintan’s history and cultural heritage. He is particularly familiar with historical areas, local stories and heritage sites across the island, making him well suited for guests who want to understand more about Bintan beyond its beaches and resorts.

Bima is an experienced local guide with around eight years of tourism guiding experience, including six years serving travellers in Bali and the past two years guiding guests in Bintan. His experience across two major Indonesian destinations has given him a strong understanding of guest service, clear communication and the importance of creating a comfortable travel experience.

Bima guides guests in Korean and Bahasa Indonesia and is known for his friendly, professional and attentive approach. He enjoys interacting with families and children, helping younger travellers feel comfortable while ensuring the whole family can enjoy their time in Bintan. His calm service style and experience with international guests make him well suited to travellers looking for a welcoming and dependable local guide.

Galih is a friendly local guide with around four years of tourism and guiding experience, including experience in Mentawai before continuing his journey in Bintan. Having spent much of his life around the sea, he brings a natural connection to island environments and enjoys helping guests discover Bintan’s coastal experiences in a relaxed and welcoming way.

A former surfer and keen diver, Galih is particularly interested in the ocean, beaches and marine activities. He communicates in English and Bahasa Indonesia and is known for being approachable and easy to talk to. Galih is also a seafood enthusiast with a strong interest in local dining, making him a useful source of recommendations for guests looking for good seafood and enjoyable places to eat during their Bintan trip.

Rahman is part of the Bintan Voyage Guest Support team, helping travellers plan their Bintan trips and assisting with enquiries, bookings and travel arrangements from the office. With more than four years of experience in Bintan tourism and a background in local guiding, he understands both the planning process and the experience guests can expect once they arrive in Bintan.

Rahman regularly assists guests with choosing suitable tours, activities and travel arrangements, while providing clear information before their trip. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, he is known for his friendly and attentive approach, helping guests feel comfortable asking questions and making travel decisions with confidence.

Raka is a friendly local guide with more than three years of experience supporting travellers in Bintan. He is known for his easy-going personality and ability to connect naturally with guests, helping create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere from the beginning of the trip.

Raka is a versatile guide who is comfortable assisting with a variety of Bintan itineraries and travel experiences. He enjoys sharing stories, local observations and interesting details along the way, making the journey feel more personal rather than simply moving from one attraction to another. Tama is an experienced local guide with more than 11 years of tourism guiding experience across several destinations in Indonesia. Much of his background has involved assisting golfers and private travellers, giving him a strong understanding of attentive service, professional communication and the expectations of guests who prefer a more personalised travel experience.
