Terms and Conditions

Bintan Voyage is a travel division of PT. Baroka Tour & Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions apply when you access bintanvoyage.com (“Website”), contact our team, or make a booking for any tour, resort package, transfer, or related travel service (“Services”). By using our Website or Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or proceed with booking.


1) Definitions

  • Customer/Guest/You: the person making the booking or participating in the Services.
  • Booking: a confirmed reservation for a package or service.
  • Deposit: the initial payment required to secure a Booking.
  • Suppliers/Partners: third parties that may provide parts of the Services (e.g., resort/hotel, transport providers, activity operators).

2) Scope of Services

We provide travel arrangements and tour packages in Bintan, including (depending on the package):

  • all-inclusive resort package planning/coordination
  • island transfers and on-ground logistics
  • excursions and activities as stated in your confirmed itinerary
  • booking assistance and scheduling guidance for Singapore ↔ Bintan travel where relevant

Important: Inclusions and exclusions are determined by the specific package description and your written booking confirmation.


3) Booking & Confirmation

A Booking is considered confirmed only when:

  1. we receive and verify your deposit payment; and
  2. we send you a confirmation message/email that includes the itinerary details and pickup instructions.

To avoid availability issues (especially for peak dates), please book early.


4) Pricing & Inclusions

All prices are based on the selected package, group size, travel date, and availability. Prices may change before confirmation due to supplier changes (resort rates, transport availability, seasonal demand). Once your Booking is confirmed, your confirmed price and inclusions will be stated in writing.


5) Payments

5.1 Deposit Requirement

To secure a Booking, a minimum deposit of 30% of the total package price is required (unless stated otherwise in writing). The deposit reserves your schedule and supplier availability.

5.2 Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept booking deposits via:

  • Bank transfer (BNI)
  • Wise transfer (commonly used by international guests)
  • Cash deposit (by arrangement) only if transfer is not possible for valid reasons and must be coordinated with our team in advance.

We do not collect or store credit/debit card details on our Website.

5.3 Balance Payment Deadline

Unless stated otherwise in your confirmation, the remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the scheduled service date. For last-minute bookings, we may require full payment earlier to secure suppliers.

5.4 Payment Verification

Services that require supplier confirmation (e.g., resort bookings) may only be processed after payment verification. Please ensure your deposit is paid on time to keep your itinerary and availability secured.


6) Changes, Rescheduling, Cancellation & Refunds

Changes and refunds may depend on supplier policies (resorts and activity operators may have strict terms). For full details, please refer to our official policy page:

6.1 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and supplier conditions. We will try to accommodate reasonable changes, but additional charges may apply.

6.2 Customer Cancellation

If you cancel, refund eligibility depends on:

  • the time remaining before your service date, and
  • supplier rules for resort/activity bookings.

6.3 No-Show / Late Arrival

If you miss pickup due to late arrival, missed ferry, or personal reasons (“no-show”), refunds are typically not available. We may attempt to adjust logistics where possible, but additional costs may apply.

6.4 Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by events outside reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, sea conditions, port closures, government restrictions, strikes, natural disasters). Where possible, we will provide practical alternatives such as itinerary adjustments or rescheduling, subject to supplier terms.


7) Itinerary Adjustments & Operational Conditions

For safety, comfort, and real travel flow, we may adjust the itinerary when necessary (e.g., weather, closures, traffic, sea conditions, crowd levels). When changes are needed, we will:

  • inform you as early as possible, and
  • offer reasonable alternatives with clear explanations.

8) Guest Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate booking details (names, contact, travel date, group size, pickup terminal)
  • follow safety instructions during activities
  • respect local regulations and cultural norms
  • ensure you have valid travel documents (passport/visa requirements depend on nationality)
  • arrive on time for ferry schedules and pickup meeting points

You are responsible for any personal belongings during your trip.


9) Health, Safety & Insurance

Some activities may involve risk (e.g., water activities, ATV, boating). We prioritize safety and may adjust plans if conditions are not safe. We strongly recommend that guests have appropriate travel insurance.


10) Liability Limitations

Bintan Voyage (PT. Baroka Tour & Travel) coordinates travel services and works with trusted partners. However:

  • We are not liable for losses caused by third-party providers beyond our reasonable control, including delays, accidents, or service interruptions, except where required by applicable law.
  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid to us for the affected service portion, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


11) Intellectual Property

All content on this Website (text, visuals, logos) is owned by Bintan Voyage / PT. Baroka Tour & Travel or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission.


12) External Links

Our Website may link to third-party sites for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for their terms or policies.

14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
